La emergente is a tattoo studio located in Bogotá that features internationally renowned and skilled artists. Due to its growth and new objectives, it needed to redesign its brand in order to strengthen its identity, highlight the artists’ work, and create a unique cultural experience for its visitors.

We revamped the branding by incorporating the artists’ sketches as complementary graphics. We utilized textures instead of colors to create sensory and captivating environments. Drawing inspiration from Colombian myths and legends, we centered our design around a “balsero” (raftman) as the primary identifier. The paddle of the raft symbolizes the needle piercing the skin during the tattoo process, while the raftman embodies the symbol of the legacy that each tattoo leaves on every individual.
